If you missed David’s Take 5 interview about the book, please click HERE to read all about it. Congratulations, David! Right around three years ago, the debate as to whether to capitalize “black” and “white” as ethnic-racial-cultural descriptions was circulating among a variety of sources, including the American Psychological Association (which had long argued for the capitalization of both), the Atlantic and Washington Post (which now decided to agree with the APA guidelines), and the Associated Press (which recommend lower case ‘w’ for white but capitalization of Black in its style guide).
