Teaching 3rd graders how to find the point of view of the narrator or character in a story can be a head-scratcher sometimes. Don’t they recognize how the character feels? Why aren’t they picking up the clues that help the reader know who is telling the story? Instead of frustration, let’s think about how to help them be successful.
