Blizzard Concedes Overwatch 2 Ranked Mode Suffers from 'Poor Comprehension’

Cheers, love.Overwatch 2 was released back in October of 2022, and ever since its launch, it seems like the sequel has stumbled from issue to issue. As its second season of content comes to a close, game director Aaron Keller has outlined plans to address community concerns going forward, chief among them the rather shoddy implementation of Ranked mode.Ranked Mode has been a point of contention ever since it was implemented, and it all has to do with the way Overwatch 2 determines a player's skill. Blizzard admits Overwatch 2’s new Ranked mode "suffered from poor comprehension"

Blizzard has outlined what changes it has planned for Overwatch 2's third season. In a brief blog post shared on the official website, director Aaron Keller admitted that the new Ranked mode "suffered from poor comprehension", acknowledging that there was "confusion around players' real rank and how that translated to skill level, difficulty forming groups with friends, and a negative impression of the matchmaker when players of different ranks were put in the same match". Jack's back, folks! Well, okay, technically this is a completely new and different series named "Rabbit Hole" that has absolutely nothing to do with "24" and technically the character that Kiefer Sutherland is playing in this new series is named John Weir, which feels more like a play on John Wick than Jack Bauer. But when you strip all that away and look at the extremely eerie connection between the two shows -- Kiefer Sutherland is playing some guy who punches people occasionally -- then the similarities simply become too much to ignore. Also, this is where I should probably confess I've never watched an episode of "24" in my life.In any case, Paramount Pictures has unveiled a brand-new look at their upcoming...

More Than a Theory

A good idea moves from helping dozens to helping millions of learners and teachers—with some business and technology savvy. INTERVIEW | by Victor Rivero Back in 2010, Tanner Hock was a basic skills English instructor at a small community college in North Carolina. Struggling to find appropriate materials for the levels of his students, he decided to simply make the resources himself. He created a large bank of ready-made resources, and a reputation for sharing. He did this through his personal website, and sent the link around to colleagues. Demand exploded, especially for various levels of reading comprehension texts (in 2011 an adaptive program was created), and by 2019, Ron Kirschenbaum and Josh Capon had taken over management with a...
