An open letter to La Trobe University

Here are emails to and from La Trobe University which are self-explanatory. The response from the university is similar to responses I have received from NZ and OZ since 2010.Do read my email and then read the response to my email.How in the world are we ever going to eradicate illiteracy or improve our education if we have educators and universities responding in such a manner?luqman michel To:c.bowers@latrobe.edu.au,k.powley@latrobe.edu.au,d.mrkaja@latrobe.edu.au,e.greaves@latrobe.edu.au Thu, 25 Jun at 15:04Dear Teachers, I saw a tweet, a few days ago, stating that there is going to be a nationwide push for universities to improve teacher education courses with La Trobe University seeking to lead the way. Study Guides For Literature: A Progeny Press Review

I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. Are you considering homeschooling this fall?  If you're new to the idea and looking for a neat way to get started, let me suggest looking into Progeny Press and their classic literature study guides.  Learning has a lot more to do with engagement and connection than it does with facts and figures.  All homeschoolers struggle to remember this from time to time, especially when you're new.  Reading and discussing great literature stirs up engagement in the best kind of way!  Thanks to the Homeschool Review Crew,...

Mom’s are literally doing it all; working from home full-time, being a mom, housekeeper, bill payer, etc… Surely one of these juggled-tasks is...

Progeny Press (A Homeschool Crew Review)

I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.My family love to go camping.  Something about being out in nature, sleeping in a tent far away from everyone else makes us all happy.  However, we unfortunately had to skip our yearly camping trip this year because with the Covid-19 pandemic, all of our campgrounds here in California are closed.  However, for the last few weeks, we have been using the Progeny Press  My Side of the Mountain Study Guide , a study guide written for grades 5-8th, as we read the book...

Improving Language Arts Skills with MaxScholar {A Homeschool Review Crew Review}

Disclaimer: I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.Thanks to the Homeschool Review Crew, we had a chance to review MaxScholar Orton-Gillingham Software from MaxScholar. I thought it would be a great way for the younger children to work on improving their language arts skills. We were given a six-month subscription which includes one teacher account and up to five student accounts. As Tabitha and Amelia used it in the past, they were not interested, so I chose to use it with just Hannah and Harold at this time. I figured it would be...
