This totally paperless activity is a fun way for your elementary class to learn about sea turtles!

Here's how it works:

Your class will uncover a set of secret codes by navigating through a series of informational text passages with comprehension questions along with interactive drag-and-drop activities.

If the student answers all questions correctly, the codes will allow them to "escape" from the activity.

Digital escape rooms are perfect for distance learning or a homeschooling parent!

It works great with Google Classroom, but can also be shared with a simple link. Anyone can use it as long as they have an internet connected device!

The step-by-step instructions make it EASY to use!

Questions are listed before the text passages to help students learn and practice "pre-reading" skills.

Skills such as asking questions before reading, making predictions based on the questions, and referring back to the text for evidence are necessary skills for any elementary student to learn.

This is a science literacy unit. Think of it as a reading unit with a science topic. It's hard to find informational text passages that are interesting but also rich in scientific information.

That's why I created this activity! To give students an engaging way to interact with one of nature's majestic creatures.
